Beautiful First Edition vintage hardcover with dust jacket, unclipped. Jacket has some wear to edges and corners, and scuffing to back and front. Book has clean red boards, and is tightly bound. No markings inside. Very good condition.
Françoise Sagan was a French novelist and dramatist. She wrote her most well-known work, Bonjour Tristesse, in 1954 when she was 18 years old. She would go on to produce 20 other novels, three short story collections, nine plays, two biographies and several non-fiction pieces.
She published Le lit défait in 1977, which was translated to English by Abigail Israel in 1978 to The Unmade Bed.
