"A selection from the last poems of Edna St. Vincent Millay, which at the time of her death, she was preparing for publication, together with a few unpublished earlier poems". (From cover).

Edna St Vincent Millay was an American lyrical poet and playwright. Millay was “known for her riveting readings and performances, her progressive political stances, frank portrayal of both hetero and homosexuality, and, above all, her embodiment and description of new kinds of female experience and expression.” (The Poetry Foundation, 2022).
