The Stream of Life, Clarice Lispector. University of Minnesota Press, 1989. Foreword by Helene Cixous.
Exceedingly rare vintage softcover. Front cover has some wear at right edge with creasing along spine edge. Spine has some light wear at ends. Back cover has some scratching along edges with light wear at corners. Some light foxing to bottom fore edge. Very good condition.
The Stream of Life (1989), originally titled Água Viva, is a lyrical, unclassifiable prose work that resists narrative convention. It is often described as a meditative monologue or philosophical stream-of-consciousness, more akin to music or abstract painting than to a traditional novel.
